Childrens' Ministries at KMBChristian Education HourWe have four age-specific classes that operate during the Christian Education Hour (9:1510:15am on Sundays). Our nursery is split between babies (02yrs) and toddlers (34 yrs); our kindergarten class (56 yrs) and our primary class (711 yrs). Gods Gang A childrens program for ages JK to Grade 4 that runs during the second half of the worship service on Sunday mornings. Kids hear stories, do crafts, and have fun learning about God. Kids Alive An after-school program for kids in JKGrade 6 that runs from September through April on Mondays from 3:45 to 5:15pm. (There will be no Kids Alive on February 15 and March 15.) This is an outreach program for children in the church neighbourhood, a safe place to go after school, and a fun place to make new friends! They play sports, games, do crafts, have Bible lessons and sing. Kids Alives purpose is that children would know Gods love and choose to follow Christ. Vacation Bible School - High Seas Expedition 2010! With 70 volunteers and 130 kids, this years VBS was a smash hit! The kids had a great time and the power of Christ was experienced. Well keep you posted on next years theme. To register your child(ren) for VBS 2010, fill out this registration form for each one and mail, drop off, or e-mail it to the church by August 6th. To volunteer your time or talents during our VBS week, please contact the office. Police reference checks must be on file for all those who choose to work with the children. |
